Into the Wild - Lazy trips to Lapland
For some strange reason I have to keep returning to Finnish Lapland every year at least once. I have no rational explanation for this.
Earlier, by favorite month to go hiking was July, the warmest month in Northern Finland, but now days I have started to appreciate June and September to get rid of the mosquitoes, that are numerous in Lapland during midsummer.
Winter trips are their own kind of madness.
